Today I positively froze while taking these pictures. Being a blogger in the Winter is a lot tougher than I had remembered. In fact, I had to come in and thaw out my hands for a few minutes after, but, totally worth it. Why? Because I love sharing my outfits with you and getting your feedback on them. I also love the idea of inspiring someone else. That is a really amazing feeling.
Anyhow, here are some fun facts about plaid!
- Although I call it plaid, it is actually tartan
- This pattern dates all the way back to the 17th century
- Plaid originally comes from Scotland
- In 1746 plaid was banned by the British for four decades (following the Scottish Revolutions)
Getting ready for my third week of school, and I believe most of you are heading back now. So good luck to you guys! Hope you have splendid classes.

I just love seeing plaid clothes, dresses particularly! I think i'll never grow tired of them. I wish i can layer as many clothes here. Our version of winter here is pretty tame. You look gorgeous, by the way. :)

LOL I've always called it plaid too and didn't learn until blogging that it was actually tartan. I love your hair! And this dress! And I also love random facts too. There is a page on Facebook called "Unbelievable Facts" and if you "like" it, it will post all kinds of cool stuff. It is one of my favorite pages.
I love the above comment saying they had never heard of tartan before, till blogging I had never heard the word plaid before! I've started to use instead, ah the Internet influence. I really like the dress. I love the tartan trend at the moment. It seems just right for winter.
