{Oxfords: Bass -- Jeans: Levi's -- Tunic: c/o Sheinside -- Cardigan: H&M}
About a month ago I was approached by a lovely rep for the online clothing boutique, Sheinside, and was asked if I would be interested in collaborating with them. I was given a certain amount to spend and was able to pick out a lovely item {this purple skull tunic} and all I had to do was wear it on my blog! They didn't ask me to the review the item, but that's what I'm doing! The first thing that attracted to me to this piece was of course it's color, purple. The second was the awesome, yet subtle, skull pattern. It matches my personal style perfectly sugar with a little kick! I was so excited when the package came I could hardly hold in the squeals wanting to come out. I ripped through the plastic envelope and was pleased that the coloring and pattern looked as nice as it did online. There weren't any loose threads and the fabric is much thicker than I thought it would be, both pleasant surprises. I did have one issue though. The sleeves were a tad tight on my arms, which is probably my fault for not double checking all the measurements. I noticed after a half hour that it didn't feel uncomfortable or anything like that. I should also mention that it is listed as a dress on the website... due to my height though that definitely wasn't going to happen. As you can see it is quite short on me! Luckily it makes an adorable tunic, and I'm excited to get a lot of use out of it.
I'm also excited because today was my first day back at school! All my teachers seem nice, even though I am a bit scared for my math class. I know if I work hard it will all turn out okay though. Even though I had to get up way too early and stumble out of bed and to the car in the freezing icy morning, it was worth it for my first class! Art. The teacher seems amazing and I am excited to just relax for the two hour class, listen to music, and let the creativity pour out. I needed this class so bad last semester. Is art the best therapy out there? I think yes.
Unfortunately my poor kitty got fixed last thursday and now she is staring at me in her cone with wide pleading eyes. I think she needs snuggles now, happy monday everyone!

Wow I'm jealous that your first day back was yesterday. This is already our fourth week! Ugh. School.
Anyway, that top is very cool. I like the subtle skull print even though I usually stay far away from skull print. I really like how it looks with your jeans and oxfords.
Bonnie I hate that you take perfect pictures! GORGEOUS Love, Muggy :)
Aw, how lovely are you!! I love how you made the more edgy piece look sweet and feminine. I actually didn't realize it was skulls at first. The hat is the perfect piece to top it off. xx Marisa

The dress/tunic is gorgeous! I love the print, and I think you styled it really well. I'm glad to here that your classes went well - although getting up when it's so cold is horrible! I wish I could live in my bed sometimes, haha :) xx
The tunic is a great color!
Love your shoes as well.

haha didn't know cats acted weird after getting fixed, poor kitty. That's odd about the arms of that top- you certainly seem to have small arms but oh well, glad it's comfy. it's def cute w/ the pattern and color. Love the square wedge on your Bass heels, that'd def make mine comfier and I'd prob wear them more. Love the pic above too. How'd you make it b&w but w/ yellow? Hope you enjoy your weekend : )

This top is wonderful. My dad is hugely into skulls and by hugely, I mean he's got a million skull tattoos and that's the only kind of t-shirt he wears, so I'm totally drawn to this piece. And girrrl, you don't wear jeans often, but you look AMAZING in them. I'm not kidding. I need to learn how to find jeans that are that flattering.
nice & cool. mobil sedan corolla
Seriously obsessed with this outfit!!
