Finally! Some snow, I've been waiting forever. It always seems like everyone else in the world gets snow before we do, leaving me wanting even more! Right now I am just sitting in front of our french doors staring out into the world of glistening white. It is so beautiful, it's hard to even explain. The worst part -- it will be gone shortly. Today will be back up to the mid 40s and rain will be pouring down, melting all the beauty, all the dreams. I'll miss you gleaming snow!
{yes, I am a nerd}

I wore this out on a movie date with my boyfriend the other night. We went to see Mission Impossible and boy, Tom Cruise still has it. He did an amazing job, I am secretly hoping they make another one soon!
I've been having this urge lately to learn how to use a sewing machine. I am not sure where to start though, my {as in my boyfriend's sister's} sewing machine doesn't even work. I should take it in to get it fixed, but not really sure where to do that either. I want to sew spring dresses and make cute gloves. Lately it's been difficult to express my creative side, although I did get some of that out while making this layout {was a total blast!}. School is starting back up next week and I'm taking a drawing class, which I can barely wait for! So excited, it's been forever since I have had an actual art class. Ones I have taken in the past always find a way to calm my worries and ease my spirit. I could use some of that right now :)
Did you all have a great weekend? Were you snowed in like me?

The new layout looks so great! I wish I knew how to make cuter ones, I am sooo behind on design stuff haha. I love the header.
adorable dress and perfect gloves, love the shoes too
Personally, I live in Colorado so I despise the snow after Christmas. BUT these pictures are so pretty. I got a sewing machine for Mother's Day and I am still trying to figure out how to use it. I took a class in October. I'd start there. Usually Groupon has some great suggestions/places. Best of luck to you!
That cardigan is just precious! I love the color:-)
I've had enough of snow already. Here in Finland we have snow left on April... And it's freezing in here, last week we had -18 celsius. Can't imagine going out to take outfit pics. Hurrr..
Cute outfit!

You look so cute! I love your hair so much. And yay for your snow! And you should totally get into sewing. Sewing machines are rather cheap, if you keep your eyes peeled. My mom got me an open boxed one from Sears and it's AMAZING and super easy to learn. Also most craft stores offer cheap lessons.
Those gloves are amazing! I love that they're black and brown. That is one of my favorite color combinations.

Yay! Snow!! I hope we get some in Georgia this year. We have every year so far, but this year I think it will just be tornado weather all year long :/!
You look absolutely STUNNING! I completely love every single little detail about your outfit and your hair and your gorgeous smile! Ah! These pictures are contagious :).
I've had a sewing machine since I was 13 and I have only just started using it in 2010! Sewing is a lot harder than I thought it was for sure. I still haven't successfully made my own dress yet but gosh darnit I am going to do it! :P

I have a sewing machine but I am not very good on it, I just have the basic skills. I'd definitely try and get yours fixed somewhere, I can imagine that you'd be really skilled on it! The layout is super awesome though <3 xx
I love everything about this outfil... Just lovely.
Ah - I'm in love with this outfit, Kaylee! Super cute! <3
