Smitten Saturday

I love braiding my hair now that it is at a sort of appropriate length for  that style!

I am currently in the midst of reading this book, and so far I can barely put it down. It take place in the 60's and a young doctor has a set of twins with his wife, but the daughter had down syndrome. Instantly he makes the decision to just giver her away. It's about the daughter and her twin brother growing up seperately. Really inspiring!

I must admit the peter pan collar on the cover lured me into this one... :)

Even with only the prospect of cold weather ahead, I've been drinking tea like a mad woman!

These boots are my new Jeffery Campbell obsession, courtesy of Modcloth. How amazing is that tapestry print? I also just love the shape of the bootie.

Anything and everything really bad for me has tasted so good lately.

I bought a new cruiser yesterday! She is light blue with yellow and white wall tires and has really cute peacock decals on it. I can't wait to get it out on the bike trail. I will also try and get a picture of it up soon, it's so lovely!

This is such an inspiring A/W outfit by Sally Scott. Well, I should say one of many inspiring outfits by this lovely designer, check out the look book from last autumn and winter.

I seriously cannot wait till all the leaves change color. And when I ran into this site I was even more excited for everything to be gold, red, and brown. I can't wait to take pictures in the autumn leaves!

I really need to practice braiding my hair now that it is super long. I'm pretty inept when it comes to anything hair-related, but it's worth a shot!

Such lovely thoughts you carry. I am excited for Autumn. I love the colors, and the spirals of Leaves. YOu've reminded me, I wanted to braid my hair tonight! But my secret, I'm not very good. I've never mastered the braid. I always fetch my Mother... I wish I could transform my locks into a braid. Maybe one day.

Love your blog!~
